I delted a forum name under a specific category. The deletion was easy however if I access my group manager area, that forum name is still listed.

The deletion was successfull. It no longer appears in the forum but still appears on the group manager menu.

That because when you delete the forum it first goes into a trashbin of sort (deleted forums option in admin control panel). Once the forum is deleted from there is it removed from the database and the group no longer appears.
