I've been given the task of upgrading our forum to take advantage of some of the newer features (email primarily). We are currently using version 1.2.7 & it has worked well so far. I notice there is no upgrade script for this version to the latest so before I just dive into it, I was wondering if there might be some info that others might pass on for me to look out for when trying to make this conversion. We currently have this running on Debian. Since I'm primarily a wintel tech (because of work environment) I have limited linux experience but am trying to ramp up as quick as possible. Any knowledge would be appreciated.
Thank you, Pete

The conversion from such an old version should be done like this:

1) Convert the forum to FUDforum 1.2.8
2) Convert the forum to 2.0.2
3) Convert the forum to 2.5.2
