I use the "Flat view" for threadviewing. Earlier hitting the small arrow besides the topic would take one to the next undread in the thread.

Now (2.5.2) it only happens about 50% of the time, the rest of the time it goes to the first message.

It was not like this in 2.3.*. I went direct from 2.3.8 to 2.5.2 btw.
