Hi

I have installed FUD and it is up and running in its initial state. It is now running on IIS with a MYSQL backend and PHP 4.3.4

When I login as the admin (http://au-webforum/forum/adm/admloginuser.php) I get a prompt for the admin username and password. I enter the password and it then it returns no error but again prompts for the username and password. This process continues and just loops and loops and loops.

I have set my IE security down to medium and checked all the standard stuff like enable cookies etc.

I also get this error when I go to the forum initially. Notice: Undefined index: QUERY_STRING in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\forum\index.php on line 376

Not sure if these two problems are related.
Any help would be awesome.

Thanks
Josh

Are you using PHP as CGI or ISAPI module?

Which version of FUDforum did you install 2.6.0RC3?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Here is the version: Powered by: FUDforum 2.5.1

I'm new to the whole PHP ball game. All i did was install PHP 4.3.4 from PHP.net and it all began to work. I have to associate .php with php.exe.

Here is thew full URL completed by the server..

http://au-webforum/forum/adm/admloginuser.php?rid=0&S=dd8ea7d046f299023 9225f599c7dca1e

I have also included the globals.php as i saw you requested in another post.

<?php include_once "C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/FUDforum/include/GLOBALS.php"; ?>

I have checked the account i'm using also has full SQL rights and it does.

I cannot access that URL, your server sends me to your existing UBB forum.

Ok, simply make a php script like this:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>

Then view this script with your browser, save the output and send it to me as an attachment via a private message.
