Nope, same shit happens, the upgrade-script exits with the following, and it does not look like the concistency checker runs...:
Removing Index conf_key
Removing Index referer_id
Removing Index avatar_approved
Removing Index acc_status
SQL Upgrades Complete
Adding GLOBAL Variables
