Hi!

I'm a niewbie to FUDforum and think about using it but have the following "problem":

I want to hide several messages in a forum in that way, that some users can't see them and other users (e.g. a specific group or moderators or something like that) see them.
I know, I can set some forums to invisible for some users, but I need to hide specific messages - also whole topics if possible, but most important I need to hide some messages, cause this should be used as a "comment" of the "admins".

Is that possible in standard-FUDforum? Any idea, how to code it myself?

Best regards

Steff

You can only 'hide' a forum, there is not functionality to hide a particular topic or message. If you need this functionality you'd need to add it yourself.

As for how, that's a complication question... You'd need to add a flag to every message and then based on that flag determine whether or not to show it.
