on my copy of mozilla 1.4 and on firebird 0.6.1 selecting the text and clicking on any of the fud code buttons erases the text
the insertion point works fine though
BTW on NN6 the insertion point jumps to the start of the field which is a bit strange ! (IMO)
..... strange but true -- neither of these changes are working now as i type in this support forum ( moz 1.4) even though the text at the bottom claims it's rc7 !!!
