right after updating the forum to RC 8 I came to a new variation of the "last post" I first mentioned some days ago.
Normally the "last post" entry leads to the last (therefore latest) post of a particular thread. However right now the entry seems to lead to the first post of the thread - somehow upside down. I dunno wether it's persistant, but it's irritating because at first it makes someone believe that a couple of threads got lost. Looking at today's posts however reveals that they're still around.

Just compare the "last post" link with the actual last post shown in "today's posts" then you'll get the idea.
Only step to reproduce the issue is upgrading to RC 8
