Hi Ilia;

I have a question. I was trying to add a 'Latest Forum Post' heading to my index page, but when I took a look at the tables I realized that the message text is stored in a file. I was just wondering why this is? Is it faster to read the messages from a file rather than a text column in MySQL?

Ok, speed as suspected. Can you point me in the direction of an existing function to read the text given the message ID? No sense re-inventing the wheel if one already exists.
