Unless I moved things around during the install or something, the Optimize Theme function seems to be broken in 2.6.0 final. I get an error at line 169 of admthemes.php, which looks like:

/* optimize *.inc files */
$path = $WWW_ROOT_DISK . 'include/theme/' . $t_name;
$dir = opendir($path);

I don't have an "include" folder there. I removed "include/" from this path, and it works now.

Works just fine for me. There was an unrelated bug in the code, but this seems like a problem on your end.
