object not found on regular webpages [message #158893]

Ever since installing xamp, many pages that have links that I click on result in an "object not found" error. For example bensbargains.net/. any links I click on result in an error such as :

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

I've installed XAMPP on one of my PC's, but haven't encountered similar problems.

Anyway, it may help if you also ask on the official XAMPP forum at http://www.apachefriends.org/f/viewforum.php?f=34
