Hi,
I have a mailman mailing list eg. testinglist(at)mydomain(dot)com
In the Mailing list manager I enter that info as the first item. I leave the next boxes empty after reading "Leave empty to pipe messages into the forum".
The forum post reaches the mailing list.
The opposite doesn't happen though. How do I get messages in the mailing list to appear as web forum posts ? Can someone give me the steps please ? Thanks.

Thank you. It would be really good IF one could get email working both ways. In fact that is almost the most important criteria I was looking for in a web forum. Ahead of dozens of other forums. It is very very disappointing to know how very difficult it is to enable this.
I have no idea how to setup Procmail. I am guessing that it is very easy for unix experts and/or people who have root access.
I am not however a unix expert. I also don't have root access. Added to that I have no idea how I would add rules to Procmail. I suspect that it is some sort of a command line program that probably needs shell access. I don't have that either.

Excellent ! So I just need to subscribe to my mailing list with a mailing address that has eg. POP access ?

Simply create a dedicated mailbox and run "maillist.php" to load messages into the forum. You won't get it any simpler than that.
Okay, so all I need do is find out how to "run "maillist.php"". I take it I need to find out...
..if my hoster has a "php maillist.php 1" file ?
..and if so where it is ?
..then put the "path" in a cron job ?
