I want to disable new members joining my web forum BUT still allow new members to be created if they post in a newsgroup that I am mirroring.

If I disable "New user registration" then will I still have "new users" able to be created from the newsgroup posts ?

Can someone here comment on/answer this query please ? Thanks.
