Hello Forum,

i try to upgrade my 2.8.0 to 3.0.0! but everytime i get this errormessage:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2147483647 bytes) in /html/htdocs/upgrade.php on line 920

i change in the php.ini the memory_limit up to 1024M, but i do nothing...

What do i wrong? Can anyone help me?

PHP: 5.3.3-ioncube
MYSQL: 5.0

That is the right way to fix it.
Did you restart the web server after changing the parameter?

no, i cant restart the server Smile but in the phpinfo() shows me, memory_limit 1024M 1024M

Line 920 uncompresses the file archive located at the end of the upgrade.php script:
$data = gzuncompress(strtr(substr($data, $p), $clean), $data_len);

Things to try:
1. Increase the memory_limit even further.
2. Check if the script is corrupt.

i solve the problem ... i set the memorylimit up to 2500MB. now it works.
but is it normal, that php need sooo much memory?

It sounds like a memory leak or bug in PHP?

Hello,

i have now another problem after the upgrade Sad
no user can login in the forum. i can't it too. only when i go to www.forum.com/adm -> there i can login with the adminuser. but form the frontpage no one can login.

i change the password form a testuser, but it do nothing. whats wrong with the forum?

Your cookie settings are most likely wrong.

Since e-mail is failing us:
I've replied to your mail on 21 September asking you to change http://p128685.typo3server.info/ to http://www.jquery-board.de/ in the Global Settings Manager or GLOBALS.php file. The server redirect you've implemented is not passing the cookie info along.
