Installed some custom profile fields to check them out, and everything went well except they are only visible from the users account settings. Is that by design or have I missed something?
I expected them to be available in the users profile

Ok that would work as well; I'll need to look at it closer but for now it appears that the answers to these fields would only be visible to the user of the account, the admin and the accounts manager/super moderator.
That would make it ideal to list user knowledge, goals, etc to be shared solely with the admin staff.
Perhaps in the future if it's changed it could be made selectable in how it's displayed and to whom.
I'll look into it a bit closer and add an entry to the help page for it.
