i set up a new database user, and didn't know what to grant to it - i like to do it manually - and didn't grant drop privileges. i saw a database error, so granted drop, and hit reload, only to be taken to step 2 screen asking for db credentials, with the error message "Please grant your database user access to drop tables and try again." above the database name.
the user does have drop privilege, but can't advance in the set up.
i've tried dropping the database, to recreate it, with no luck.
as a sidenote, i think it'd be really useful if the installer listed what privileges the db user needs.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'Couldn't write to ....index.php.' in ....include/compiler.inc:515 Stack trace:
