I'm trying to remove the Registration link all together, instead of just disabling it. I've looked through the TMPL files, but I'm not sure what I need to change. I know that if I modify my template for my them, all the php files get re-written so I can't make modifications directly there.

Basically, I don't want to show a link at all for Registration, as my Single Signon process will take care of the registration part.

Go into the template manager and use that to edit your files, or you have to edit the files found in the DATA_ROOT/thm/themename/tmpl/

The thing you are looking for is in usercp.tmpl -> register ({SECTION: register})

Alternatively, apply this patch:
http://fudforum.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fudforum?view=revision&revis ion=5096

Remember to rebuild your themes when you are done.

Hi,
I applied the patch and it removed the 'register' link.

How can I remove the "Want to register?" link in the main Login Form page and update the URL for the "Forgot password" link?

thank-you
Ernest

Edit login.tmpl and remove the link.

Alternatively, apply http://fudforum.svn.sourceforge.net/fudforum/?rev=5269&view=rev

got it! Thanks.

I would also like to change the 'Forgot Password' link so it directs our users to our SSO application. I believe this change would be in the reset.php, correct? Or could this also be done in the login.php?

What code should I use to change the link from going to the FUDForum password reminder page, and instead navigate to a URL outside of FUDForum?

Just replace the "reset password" link in login.tmpl with your own HTML link.
