I am currently using MySQL 3.23, PHP 4.3.1, with FUD v2.3.5 and would like to upgrade to MySQL 4 (and later on, newer version of FUD).

Anything I should look out for when upgrading MySQL from 3.23 to 4.0 regarding FUDforum?

There is only 1 gotcha. In MySQL 4.0 'LOCK' used for table locking is a separate permission. So you need to grant the MySQL user forum is connecting as LOCK permissions to the database it is using.
