Hi FudForum team,

Thanks for this wonderful piece of software. You make UBBForum and others commercial forum software pales in comparison to yours.

Keep up the good work!

Just a little suggestion. Do you guys have plans to implement a "instant messaging" software, whereby where I login, I can see not just who are the people online, but at the same time, send messages to them. It's like a popup window that shows who are online, and a click on the user listed in the popup window, allows you to send intant messages to them.

That'll be cool.

All in all, I am very happy with this software.Very Happy

Well there is the private messaging system, which will show if a person has any new/unread messages in their "inbox". You also have a "buddy list", which allows you to see if your buddies are on line or not.

To access this stuff, click on the profile link and then look at the buddy list and the private messaging tab.

Yes, I know that. But the current solution is too troublesome, that means I have to click on Profile->BuddyList just to see who are online. I suggest when the user first logins to this forum, a small popup window popups to show who are online.

See the screenshots to know what I mean. Smile

This is just a suggestion. Forget it if you think the idea is stupid. Laughing

No idea is most certainly not stupid, we're just always looking for the most elegant implementation possible, we attempt to use popups as little as possible or whenever makes sense, we will certainly consider the idea, we just need to think through how to implement elegantly, 'tis all Smile
