Hi,

the FUDforum I installed ist visited by german users.
When they use some characters like apostrophe it will converted to HTML like this: ´.
HTML is disabled in my forum, so that this text is not shown properly.
Also very often the character ´ is shown in the postings. The poster says, that they write an apostrophe.

Can you help me?

Greets,

Xonk

Is it converted by the browser or the forum? If the forum does the conversion it should be ok.

I have the same problem in my forum. I had assumed the poster had done a silly character, but looking at it know it does look like it should be an apostrohpe.

First of all the character is not a single quote,
since quote is ' the character that was a reverse quote. If you want that character to be displayed correctly, switch your theme from ISO-8859-15 to ISO-8859-1 character encoding (I presume this was what phorum used).
