I don't want to sound rude but this is a PHP forum. Asking about what
features Paypal offers is as off-topic as discussing about TV shows.

As Álvaro said, it's off topic in these forums. It has absolutely
nothing to do with PHP. Ask in an appropriate place and you'll get a
good answer. That's what the Paypal developer support is for.

Perhaps if you tried posting in a PayPal forum, you'd get some answers.

PHP != PayPal.

So go and ask in the paypal developer forums on the paypal website.

Or - Read The Paypal Developer API Guides!

That is mean, Dennis!
Which one of the 749 Paypal Developer API guides must he start with?

Seriously, I think Paypal is a mess, as is their documentation.
I have been working with it for some time now (IPN messages), and I am
not impressed.
Oh yes, they have documentation, but simply too much of it.
So you end up asking on their fora or email their helpdesk.
In my experience some people answering barely have a clue, so you always
keep that unsure feeling. (Did I program this right?)
And then they introduce a bunch of new variables in their IPN without
notice or documentation.
etc. etc.

But you are right of course, this isn't the place to get help for
Paypal. go to x.com for help, or email/call.

Excuse me: I just had to blow off some steam. ;-)

I've been going through a very similar issue lately. Turns out that
Paypal is kind of a PITA for anything other than simple stuff.

Try posting in alt.www.webmaster (a little more on-topic there), and
I'll reply with more info.
