probleme with ID in egroupware / FUD [message #17634]

Hi.
Don't know what I am doing wrong but the forum seems to keep loosing the User ID. User is logged in egroupware, it gets picked up, but then it gets lost after going into other apps. Still coming back one can post, but user id is empty.
On the other side, when logged out and logging back in, posting in forum would be under the previous user id... What am I doing wrong ?

At the bottom of your eGW pages it should say something like this "Powered by eGroupWare version 0.9.99.026". What is the number that you are seeing?

Are you using cookie or session authentication?
If you are using cookies, can you verify that the cookies is being successfully set?
Does the user id ever get lost while you are browsing the forum, or does the loss occur when you switch from the forum to another application?

Guess I will be working on exact scenario to replicate this bug and will post it here.
Need to close browser for a while though to start testing from scratch.

Ok.
After seriously checking:
At present it seems not to work all the time. I.e., after login into egw, clicking on the forum icon, entering a thread, the thread does not have an id. egw meanwhile displays the user id correctly.
I have tried with cookie session on or off. I do get the message of 'you are not logged in. Register or log in'. Both pages send me to error pages.

Note that infolog works, calendar works, ...etc.

I checked the log of messages and it did work on / off, but best is to work on what I can reproduce for now.
