I have a mobile application that pulls images from my server and these images have to be in the dimensions the keep the power of two because they are used as textures to be applied to 3d objects in opengl es. I have images coming to the mobile in proper dimension but since I have strict dimensions to stay to I wanted to take the transparent image thats 256x256 and place a smaller image copy that I keep in its original proportions within the new transparent one but place it so that its centered.
I know Ive seen this done before but of course I didnt need it at the time so I didnt bother to save the link :p
Any help with the matter would be much appreciated
