You could subscribe for misc.jobs.misc or some other of the job groups
out there.

That's a little outdated. Try instead...

http://www.faqs.org/faqs/usenet/big8-group-management/

The alt.* hierarchy (and other non big8 hierarchies) has different
rules.

It is completely up to the users if they freak out on job offers, or if they welcome
them.

On comp.lang.tcl for example people are not that hostile.

I think there is enough room for job offers here between the repeated stupidities.

But then you aren't the ruler of this newsgroup, are you? So it really
doesn't matter what you think. The rules are set up in the charter.
And they don't include job offers.

But you are? Arguing with you leads just nowhere, or into a circle of stupid
repetitions. This newsgroup would gain a lot if you could keep off.

As I said (but you obviously can't read) - the newsgroup charter sets
the rules. I just follow them.

But then why do you continue arguing? Why do you even bring it up? I
guess because you either want to start an argument or don't give a damn
about the rules.
