unable to register new users or post topics. i get a systems error and a note to contact webmaster. i have looked in the error log and nothing shows. i can create forums as admin and everything just not the above?

i only have FILE_LOCK in the errors folder and the logs in the forum admin panel are empty.

where should i look.

it also does the same thing when i preview the topic im trying to create.

i can add as admin forums and catagories no problem?

You should login as the administrator, go to the admin control panel and click on the error log viewer link.

Error logs are currently empty

also no errors in httpd or mysql

wierd?

You are running a fairly old forum, version 2.3.8, try to install FUDforum 2.6.2 and see if you can replicate the problem.

i never knew upgrading fud would lead to a whole host of other upgrades like apache and php etc... BUT it works!!!
