[Mac OS X ML] how to install MongoDB driver [message #182765]

Currently I'm using PostgreSQL thru PDO on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
I plan to test MongoDB with php and i don't find, for the time being,
install instruction for Mac OS X.
I've read <http://docs.mongodb.org/ecosystem/drivers/php/> starting with :
sudo pecl install mongo

but i don't have pecl on my mac...

does someone have experience on installing the mongo driver on Mac ?

my php version is :
PHP Version 5.3.15
