I was looking for an offline environment to play with
PHP and MySQL, so I chose XAMPP version 1.8.2.

If XAMPP is supposed to be able to run offline, why
did it need an Internet connection when it came time
to setup my "root" password the phpAdmin and
MySQL setup??? I'm just curious. Thank you.
