Hi!

We are using the Fudforum Youtube Plugin in our Forum. Unfortunately since some days, I guess its since the upgrade to 3.0.5, the Youtube-Plugin does not work anymore. There is just nothing to see where the Youtube Playback box should appear.
Any help appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Dirk

Looks like it's working just fine.

Hmm. Unfortunately it does not work in my Forum Confused. But you are right it seems not related to the upgrade.
The Youtube object seems to be included, but it does not show up. I just remember, that I switched over to SSL and as I looked into the code now the Youtube tag is added as standard HTTP. Probably this is the problem because mixing http and https is not allowed?
Is it possible to change the Youtube plugin to https?

In the youtube-plugin I've now changed all occurrences of "http://" to "https://", but it doesn't work. The Video Url still has the http://... prefix. Is there anything else to update?

I now understood that I have to change all past links by hand, as the plugin does the conversion directly after editing. Is there a way, that the plugin does the transformation from BBCODE to HTML transparent on each page view?

Thanx, Dirk

You DO NOT have to change all past links by hand. Create a replacement rule in the ACP. After that, rebuild all messages and enable "Permanently apply Replacement and Censorship rules to message bodies".

Also see updated plugin at
