When calling the forum e.g. with this URL /forum/index.php/f/3/ there comes an error 'Invalid URL'. The session-ID a must. With no path_info the session-id can be omitted.

Because the forum needs to strip the session from PATH_INFO, when the session is missing it strips valid data effectively breaking the URL. When posting links most people would copy the url linking to the page (which would have session id) or copy the address from their browser's URL bar which too would have the session.
