If and when that happens, then those of us who know better can post corrections in reply to
*them*. But not to richard. His requests for aid should be ignored.

Regardless of how we accomplish it, though, I think it's high time we all agree that richard
gets no more assistance until he has a major change of attitude. He seems to believe that
this newsgroup exists for the purpose of fixing the problems he creates, that he is somehow
entitled to our assistance that we are somehow obligated to provide.

It's time to burst his bubble. Unless and until RtS apologizes for his behavior, all of his posts
along the lines of "why isn't this working?" should be answered with nothing beyond
"because you screwed up again."

The greater danger, IMHO, is not that richard's questions will be answered by newbies as
clueless as he [assuming they exist], but rather that newbies' questions will be answered by
richard. In that case, his posts should not be ignored: misinformation demands correction.
