Disable RSS from one forum of a group [message #18869]

I have a need to disable RSS for one forum of one of my groups. I have not found anything in the doc, or on the boards (if I'm searching correctly) that would give me a clue how to do so.

Is there any manual tweak that I could do?

As far as RSS goes you can only enable or disable it for the entire forum.

Actually if you take a way a user's permission to view/read the forum they will not be able to generate an RSS feed of that forum.

Thanks for the reply.

With the rss feed that is like this:
http://[address of forum site]/forum/rdf.php?mode=m&l=1&n=10&basic=1

If I put that into a reader, it is bringing up the last ten posts, from anywhere in the forum, regardless of authentication. So, those who are not even registered at my site, if they now the structure of url to put into their reader (say RssReader or something), they could read whatever is posted.

By default, I have made it so individuals must log in at the site to maintain privacy. No anonymous user may browse the forum... just looking for a way to secure the rdf/rss feed.

My apologies if I'm not expressing myself clearly here.

Please disregard - I believe I found the answer in RDF Management (directly under my nose)... I was looking under Category/Forum Management previously. All seems well!
