Have forum A,B,C,D,E,F,G
user group 1,2,3, each have 100 users;
If we want :
user group 1 can access forum ABC
user group 2 can access forum Def
user group 3 can access forum G
the current group manager is easy to do this, just add user one by one, but is stupid.
But if I want user group 1 can access forum ABC
user group 2 can access forum BCD
user group 3 can access forum CDEFG
then it's too hard to do so.
If have UserGroup in FUDforum, like anonymous/registered user, we can just add user to UserGroup, then just add UserGroup to forum.

It sems than phpBB support this feature:
Control forum access to specified user groups
this make manage much easy.

You can create your own groups that control access privileges to as many forums as you like.
