Hi,
I want to set up a private forum, that can only be accessed by users that are registered in the system by administrators.
How can I...
1) put the login form directly on the homepage, that you have to log into before you can see anything related to the forum?
2) remove the register button from the menu.
3) Disable all the registration buttons/links (i.e. from the login page)
Many thanks,
Tobias

There is an option to disable registrations. it won't remove the register link though. Private forum can be setup by setting restricted permissions on the forum via the group manager.

Hi Ilia -
Thanks for the tip. Is there an easy way to force people who are not logged in to go directly to the login page, rather than just seeing the homepage with no forums and no access to anything?
Also how can I turn off subscriptions/notifications entirely?
Many thanks as always,
Tobias
