I'm looking for new message board software to replace my long running WebBBS board, and I have two questions that I could not find the answers to in the docs or by doing a search of the forums.

1. Is it possible for me to limit all users to no more than 3 posts each day?

2. Is it possible to make the randomly generated password that is e-mailed to new users a 4 digit number?

Thanks!!

1) Not really, however the forum has a feature that allows you to set the time difference between posts. This is normally used to prevent forum spamming via automated tools. You could use this feature to limit people's ability to post by saying they can only post 1 messages every 8 hours.

2) You'd need to modify the random password generation code.
