please help with specific regular expression for mailing list footer mangling [message #19378]

Hi,

I'm having trouble with a regexp which used to work and now doesn't. Ilia or someone, can you please help me out with this?

Here's the regular expression I'm using:

--[\r\n]Time to Get Online Trainers mailing list[\r\n]Online at http:\/\/www\.timetogetonline\.org\/trainers[\r\n]Questions\? Write to trainers\@timetogetonline\.org

I've got 'm' in the second field next to the regular expression.

And here's the text it's supposed to strip out:

What am I doing wrong?

check to make sure it really uses \r\n and not \n

Hi Ilia -

What do you mean? I've got \r\n on each of those lines... just like I indicated above. Is there something I'm missing?

Or do you mean for me to somehow monitor what maillist.php does?

Try to change [\r\n] to [\r\n]+ and try escaping the - characters.
