When resetting the password at your forum I received an email to confirm the process. If I click on that link I get an error message "Invalid password reset key" of your forum. After that error message a new email with my new password is sent.

index.php?t=getfile&id=1299&private=0

So, the process is working fine, only the displayed message is wrong.

Bye, Mike

This is a "funny" problem it happens due to your e-mail client automatically opening the URL in the e-mail. The consequence of that action is the sending of password and clearing the reset key. So when you manually access the URL the reset key is no longer valid.

I'm using the KMail-Client from the current KDE 3.3 version on SuSE Linux 9.0. Perhaps I reset my password again and analyse the network traffic with a sniffer.
If I find out something interesting, I'll tell you.

It definitely does it with Kmail I was able to replicate the problem with kmail and confirm kmail opened the URL automatically internally.
