General questions about FUDForum [message #19912]

I am considering using this forum instead of the one I am currently using. Therefore I have some general questions about the capabilities and simplicity of this forum. Any answers are most appreciated.

Can the default easily be set to threaded forum..actually eliminate the the non-threaded button option? Is it an admin setup option and if not what is the process or code so I won't have to ask later.

Is the upload attachments a hack or standard feature?

What about message icons and smileys? Can they be removed from easily as well and how?

I see forum options listed as on or off...how do I get rid of those and if so how?

I need a very clean simple forum with upload attachment ability. If I can do these things I will love this.

Yes, you can disable "flat" views all together in FUDforum and leave only threaded views or vice verse or even have a mix of both. For example have the topic list flat, but messages inside the topic threaded.

Standard feature since version 1.0

There are control panels for adding/removing them.
