I just set up a brand new forum from the current CVS code. In the process of creating my little forums (Admin screen -> Category & Forum Management), I noticed that "Hidden Forum" defaults to "Yes". I question that, but I can think of a few reasons why that might be the case. At any rate, I can set the a particular forum to be unhidden; but when I edit the forum, it goes back to being hidden with no intervention on my part.

Fixed in CVS, there was a typo in the file, missing $ before forum's hidden status variable.
