After upgrading to 2.6.7RC1 (from 2.6.0) without any noticeable problem, I get the following error when I try to post a message:

Warning: pg_query(): Query failed: ERROR: Unable to identify an operator '=$' for types 'character varying' and 'integer' You will have to retype this query using an explicit cast . in /var/www/fud1/fud/theme/default/post.php on line 2775

I cannot post anything anymore Sad
(As database backend, I'm using PostgreSQL 7.3.4.)

The temporary fix would be to disable the search system, it is the culprit behind this error.

I've tried the prepared query in PostgreSQL PostgreSQL 7.4 on i686-pc-linux-gnu and it works without a problem.

It could be an issue with older PostgreSQL, I've checked the docs and there appears to be no need for any casts according to the available docs.

Ok, I upgraded my PostgreSQL to 7.4.5, and it works fine now, thanks.
