I notice you have 2 forums running (demo and support). Could you explain how to do this with minimal duplicate files? I'd like to set something like this up on my site.

Actually the 2 forums you've mentioned are entirely different.

You can make 2 or more forums use the same data though...

well I'd like to have two forums using the same php items just pointing to diffrent databases. ie ./forum1/ and ./forum2/
point to forum1 and forum2 databases

Well that is a bit a unusual, since you'll be complicating your life for a sake olf 200-300kb saving of drive space.

Non the less if you want to do so, simply use symlinks to create "duplicates" of the php files from 1 install.
