Hi,
I had a person spamming my site via PM Smile

I deleted his account and it deleted his posts, but now people are showing as one unread private message, even though the message has been deleted. How can I subtract one from the counter and also is this problem fixed in the latest release?

I did, that was my first port of call. It showed them as PMs missing an author and deleted them. It didn't however update the new message counters for people.

Unusual problem, I'll try to replicate it tonight. What version of the forum are you running?

So it's a bug fixed in a later version? I've tried to update my forum but it complains that about 80 files have been changed and couldn't be cleanly upgraded. So for now, I'll leave this as a bug to be fixed when I get the chance to upgrade.

I believe so, either way I am unable to replicate it with the latest release.
