Would someone please explain to me step-by-step how to change the wording for the user agreement?

I have tried everything I can think of to edit the text and it is not working.

Thank you.

I don't see the text I want to change! Is there some conflict with the template editor and Firefox?

All I see is {MSG: blah} in the box.

Argh.

Even when I do that I see none of the text I want to replace. I see forum_txt (not exact quote) and then in the text box it will say "Forum text" and then when I add new text in there nothing happens after I click edit.

Try rebuilding the theme.

Can you tell me what is the text that you are trying to replace that you don't see.

The text that gives the terms of use...I think it is in the Introduction box? By clicking "agree" you will not post sexually explicit things, or swear or do this or that or burp while surfing the boards, etc (that might not be exactly what the original text says...)

I rebuilt the theme. Now that page doesn't come up at all when someone tries to register.

Here is what I did:
1)went to Template Editor
2)clicked on pre_req
3)opened forum_terms
4)clicked edit text
5)inserted text in text box (the long rectangular one)
6)clicked edit
7)went to Theme mananger...clicked rebuild theme
8)tried to register...got nothing.

The correct text is showing up in the forum_rules for in the template editor but it is not showing up live!

No one can register right now!

I tried to correct what I did to forum_terms by replacing the text with Forum Terms again (I believe that was what was there initially).

It is rather critical that people be able to register and I have no idea what I have done!
