Hi,

I recently upgraded to 2.6 from 2.3, so I'm a bit confused as to where to edit everything.

My first question is - how do you get the header/a banner to sit at the very top of the page?

Have a look at http://www.colerainefc.com/forums - I want the banner to sit at the very top of the browser window, without the white border. I've looked all through forum.css and header.tmpl but I cannot find the place to do this?

Secondly, is there any way of removing the thin white line that acts as a divider between messages, post details etc??

Thanks for your time Smile

you need to edit header.tmpl usually you'd want to put your banner/logo code right below the <body> tag to make it appear @ the very top of the page like on this forum.

The white line is something the CSS table definitions inside forum.css.tmpl file are responsible for.

Thanks for the help! I thought I was doing something wrong, but I couldn't figure it out. Very Happy

So can the white lines be removed then? If so, what line do i need to look at?

Thanks again and I also must say that you've done a great job with these forums. Having used all the other types of forums, this one has to be the best by a long distance! Cool

The white space is not just 1 line, open forum.css.tmpl and looking @ the styles with the word "Table" in their name. Manipulating those styles will allow to eliminate the white lines.

Can you give a quick sample of code to add a logo as suggested above? I cannot seem to get it right. Also, where should I put the .gif or .png file?

Thanks a bunch! BTW - the installation of this software went without a hitch! That is a first for me so I really appreciate your work!
