Hi once again,
I have a problem with the Disk Usage feature of the forum. The display of the SQL space being used for fud seems to be wrong for me (maybe it works on other systems)
Quote:

FUDforum Include Directory:
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/kunden/web180/hidden/include/
this is where all the forum's function files are stored 338 Kb Web Dir:
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/kunden/web180/html/forum/
this is where all the forum's web browseable files are stored 2,862 Kb Template Dir:
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/kunden/web180/hidden/template/
this is where the forum's templates & i18n are stored 1,289 Kb Error Dir:
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/kunden/web180/hidden/errors/
this is where the forum's error log files are stored 0 Kb TMP Dir:
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/kunden/web180/hidden/tmp/
this is where the forum's temporary files are stored 0 Kb File Store Dir:
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/kunden/web180/hidden/files/
this is where all files attached to messages are stored 0 Kb
Total Disk Usage: 4,489 Kb
MySQL Disk Usage: 127,358 Kb

I dunno but how comes that SQL eats up 127 megs? There's just the forum and nothing else, a completely fresh install with just one user (me) who even hasn't created a message yet. Could this be a system specific bug? Host is running SuSE Linux with Apache 1.3.19, PHP 4.06 and MySQL 3.23.37. There's no safe mode or any dumb restrictions which could interfere Confused
Ken

I believe the size is for the entire database. If your forum shares a database with other sql data they would be included in the mix.

Ah, this would explain it. Indeed, it's just virtual hosting and definetely not a standalone database. Wink
Thnx n bye

I'll add some comment to the stats page to prevent confusion about that figure...

Comment for MySQL disk usage added in CVS.

I also fixed a bug in calculation, which showed bytes instead of killobytes for MySQL disk usage.
