Hi, don't know if it's a bug or an error of mine.
But... I installed the last cvs patches on v2.68 and now when a forum is hidden to some users, those who are allowed to view it see the name of the forum but no link to access to it.
Have you an idea of the problem ?
(it worked fine before the patches)

There is no bug.
When a forum is visible to the user it will appear on the front page, however if the user does not have read permission only the forum name and description will be displayed.
If the user has read permission but no visib le permissions the forum will not b e displayed on the front page, but if user were to access it by typing the URL to it, they'd be able to use it.
This is how the permissions worked, always.
