I have a question about the items I've starred in the image:
http://www.frugalpoet.com/images/trouble.jpg

The green star: though I've set no smilies in the admin CP, it still says smilies are on - even though I don't really see the smilies icons.

The red stars: which templates do I need to edit to get rid of those rows completely? I'd like to comment out message icons, file attachments, and options. Please be as specific as possible. I managed to edit the header and footer, but everything in the middle is a mystery to me. All I'd like is a slick interface with the text area and then the create topic or submit or preview buttons below the text area.

Also, I thought I had disallowed attachments in admin cp, but I was still able to attach files in the forum I'm testing.

Using FF 2.6.6
Your help is appreciated - thanks!

Admin CP does not control smilies for regular messages, only for private messages and signatures. The change smiley settings for the forum user group permissions.

post.tmpl & post_common.tmpl are the templates to edit for the red stars.
