Ilia, is it possible to limit usage of different forums by ip addresses per forum basis, not as for the entire forum, as it is now? It is my need. Thanks.

No, the IP filter in FUDforum can only be used to ban people from the forum.

This would be too slow, IP checks are not exactly fast. You can certain request it, but there is very little chance of me implementing this functionality.

I may be misunderstanding the whole issue, but as you always have remote IP for banning purposes, would it be that slow to compare it with just several different patterns, say, for Forum 3 or Forum 4?

The ip banning is only used when someone tries to post a message, register on a forum or report a message. It is not used for access priveleges.
