Does your system has pl_PL locale compiled?
You can do a quick test by doing this:
export LOCALE=pl_PL
date -R
If the date "text" appears in polish then you got the locale compiled, otherwise you need to use localedef utility to compile it.

Well.
Let's see.

$ date
sob maj 4 00:09:23 CEST 2002
$ locale
LANG=pl_PL
LC_CTYPE="pl_PL"
LC_NUMERIC="pl_PL"
LC_TIME="pl_PL"
LC_COLLATE="pl_PL"
LC_MONETARY="pl_PL"
LC_MESSAGES="pl_PL"
LC_PAPER="pl_PL"
LC_NAME="pl_PL"
LC_ADDRESS="pl_PL"
LC_TELEPHONE="pl_PL"
LC_MEASUREMENT="pl_PL"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="pl_PL"
LC_ALL=
$ ls -al ankieta_ldk.php
-rw-rw-rw- 1 krzysiek bass 639 lut 26 14:43 ankieta_ldk.php

Looks good to me.

So?

I'm sure I have locale support compiled in.
It's in locale.gen:
en_US ISO-8859-1
pl_PL ISO-8859-2

It works elsewhere. It doesn't work in FUDforum2.

Best regards,

Kerhold Cool
