root password not admin password [message #2220]

You are a user with the administrator flag set.
If you want to change some values at a profile of a different user, you have to fill in the root password.
Wouldn't it be more useful to fill in the password of the (admin)user which you are logged in at the moment?

Root is Unix for Administrator (They are the same thing)

When the admin is editing a user's profile the password they need to enter con confirm the change is their own password.

I think my last posting was a bit confuse. I try to do it better now.

Our forum has for example 3 "users"
1. root
2. charly -> admin flag is set!
3. tony (normal user)

Now, I log in as user charly and try to change the profile of user tony. Everything works fine except the thing that I have to fill in the password box the password of the user root, not of user charly!

System: FUD 1.2.7; Linux 2.4.x; Mozilla 0.9.9
I hope it is clear now, what I mean.
