two extention for forum image [message #22675]

Hi
searching in the directories of the forum I noticed that in the forum/theme/default/images/ there are some images .gif and the same .png
The forum use only gif image, or not?

For example: If I create a new "existing_content.gif", have I to create "existing_content.png" too??

Hi,

Look at "lib.js":

The *.gif files are used for Windows Internet Explorer, the *.png files are used for all other browsers.
